Dr. Alan Gotesman specializes in non-operative and operative orthopedic surgery with a special focus on upper extremity and hand surgery. His philosophy is to optimize patients function and minimize pain using the least invasive and most advanced techniques available.

He also believes in tailoring care to each individual patient based on their needs as well as giving the attention deserved to every person. Dr. Gotesman focuses on treating the patient, not the x-ray or MRI, while still using the most up to date methods available in the fields of orthopedic surgery and hand surgery.
